Two minutes before we were leaving for the spelling bee, Maggie pulled a hook out of the wall and ended up with some pretty bad damage to her head. We took her over to the trusted doctor's house (our bishop) and he stapled her right up. She was not amused at all, but was a pretty good sport until he told her he thought she needed two more. When we got home she most definitely proclaimed that it was, "The worst day ever!" I totally agreed.

2 ramblings by jill
All day I am entertained by Jill and what comes out of her mouth. Here is just a sampling:
"Mom, can we go to Subway and get a toasted sandwich with
turkey and cheese and provolone?"
Mom: Jill, what is Casey's middle name?
Jill: Cold hard cash
(not sure where that came from. do I need to be concerned?)

Anna turns one
Birthday list:
1. Presents: Diapers from mom and dad and a shopping cart from Nana and Papa
2. Dinner: Copycat Cafe Rio, mom's choice because I can't voice my opinion yet.
3. Cake: Vertical striped chocolate and strawberry Cake (which was a disaster) and cupcakes with Strawberry Whoppers
3. Guests: All of my favorite friends, mom and dad, Elder Toone and Elder Johnson
4. Birthday Song: Sung to me by all until Donald Duck interfered and everyone was laughing too hard
5. What I loved the most: Gumming the strawberry whopper
We can't believe Anna is one. We are all amazed that a year has passed and marvel at all that a one-year-old can do. Anna's favorite word is "uh-oh" along with dada, mommuh, and Anna. She loves her brothers and sisters. They are most definitely the highlight of her world. She likes to play pat-a-cake and does not like to sit still at church. Her favorite trick is a somersault, with some help. We love having her in our home and had a great time celebrating her oneth birthday.
