Tears over Teddy
Ron has not enjoyed Teddy's rough transition to Missouri. Things such as throwing up in the car on the way here, Teddy having house training issues, and white fur constantly being under foot have gotten on the dad's nerves. So, today Ron was trying to buy Casey over to the dark side by offering him Star Wars toys in exchange for finding Teddy a new home. (We all know Casey can be bought.) Casey was thrilled and screamed with joy at the thought of adding to his toy collection. Unfortunately, Maggie overheard and burst into tears and sobs, thinking Teddy was leaving us. She immediately picked up Teddy, marched to her room, and let us all audibly know her feelings on the matter. The tears just seemed to snowball from there with homesickness from several kids and me aching for some sense of familiarity. Sunday seems to be a hard day with church both a bright part of the week and a sad one. We all definitely miss so much about RM ward, but also love to go where there are things that we know and love. So, hopefully each week will get better as we get to know the flow of WP and hopefully continue to stumble across forgotten notes from Eliza in the church bag reminding of good things.

I know how you feel. My kids are very homesick. Our new house will be much bigger than our old one and it has a great backyard with a trampoline. But Evie still says our home in AZ is the best in the world. We are all feeling a little bit sad.
I miss RM ward too. Oh how I miss it!!
Those days are rough. Consistency amongst change... thanks for the reminder. Please give Maggie a hug from the Porter girls. So what's the final verdict on Teddy?
There were a few tears here today too. I thought it must be in the water, but maybe not. I listened to Elder Snow's conference talk on change, and that helped me a lot. I still had the Sunday morning conference session on my DVR. I'm grateful to have technology to make things easier. Love, Nana
So sorry we missed Zach's call. Tate was so excited to call him back. We;ll try again tomorrow. It was really weird to be at meet the teacher with your family not there. We love you!
Your family is missed as well. Kaylee has asked more than once if Maggie could come over, but usually catches herself and says, "oh yeah...".
I love the new posts. I was cracking up at Teddy rolling around in the grass and Ron on his lawn mower. Looks like so much fun. Believe me, you are all missed so much around here. I just keep pretending that you are on summer vacation.
oh your all so missed!
Do you want Todd to take a detour and stop in West Plains on the way to AZ to pick up Teddy? HaHa. I hope the "Teddy situation" gets better. And I really know how you feel. I felt the same way. Your home ward is always a comforting thing. But, I too learned to love this ward, even in Cabo. Keep us updated!
sniff, sniff =0(, we miss you guys so much!!
