Day 2 in NYC
Who wouldn't love to wake up to this? A liege waffle with speculoos and cream .
Totally divine.
Totally divine.
And, we got to eat it while walking toward the Helmsley building.
Really? Just pinch me.
Really? Just pinch me.

From Grand Central to the Financial District.
This ended up being Ron's favorite day.
I think he has always had dreams of working Wall Street.
Ron and the bull . . . from the front end.
I'm not sure what the allure of a knish, or a dog, or a falafel on the street is,
but Ron found something that was calling his name.
9/11 memorial
New WTC 1. Amazing architecture.
Staten Island Ferry. Worth every penny.
Great views of the Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan.
All for free.
A namesake sighting.
Not sure what all this meant. Locks on the Brooklyn Bridge.
A walk across the bridge after a thankfully warm lunch at Grimaldi's.

A shot at babycakes NYC. Totally disappointed. I had memories of a delicious, cute cupcake, but came out with a dry, bland brick. So sad. Can you spot the similarities and the differences?
1. Same purse
2. Short hair.
3. No coat in 2006.
4. Wishing for a warmer coat in 2013.

Another namesake sighting.
After dinner at Sullivan Street Bakery (had a delicious potato pizza), the day ended with the NIT championship game at Madison Square Garden. Baylor vs. Iowa. Such fun. Baylor won the day.

So fun. I thought for sure Ron's favorite day was shopping with Miranda. =) Thanks for the walk through memories.
