NYC - day 4

NYC -  day 4

LOTS of walking.  A day for acting awesome on the street and seeing lots of sights.

It started at Popover cafe for breakfast and then a walk down
Central Park and a stop at the Imagine mosaic.
You go, Mur.

A view of the Natural History Museum.  Maybe someday we will go inside.

A monument to the seventh regiment who fought in the civil war.
My favorite statue this trip.

A dreamy view of central park.  I could handle a CP outing every Saturday.

Tarts at Pain Quotidien in Central Park.  Yes, please.

Columbus Circle.  Street performers and Ron.  Great combo.

Tiffany yellow diamond.  Not for sale.  At least not in my price range.

 A sweet namesake.

A piece of the Berlin Wall.

A view from atop the Empire State Building.

 A forced namesake.

Another arranged namesake while we waited for Miranda to shop, shop, shop.
I think she found every Anthropolgie in Manhattan.

Two birds.  One made out of nails.  The other out of only sugar and spice.

And, what happens when you walk and walk and walk.
Be warned.

Other stops of note:

Beecher's Cheese.  Amazing.
The NY Public Library.  LOVE.
Fish's Eddy.  A definite repeat.
Giant Bubble blowing by Miranda.
Prada to price check a bag.  Lost Ron and Nate downstairs.  Still not sure what took them so long to realize they were not at a thrift store.
Grand Central to do a little nose picking and then a visit to the subway museum that does not sell Z line shirts.  Disappointment for sure.
And, dinner at Celeste's.  Ron chose the best dinner.

I love your posts. So fabulous. Now I'm sitting here wondering if two years for Josie's trip will be too long. You and Ron were SO FUN!!!
Thank you, thank you.
